Hervey Bay is ideally located - close to the Queensland State
Capital of Brisbane for day trips, visits and participation in major
events, close to the Great Barrier Reef, and sheltered by Fraser Island. Hervey Bay is a city of around
45 000 people in the Queensland Sub-Tropics. The city is bordered on its
north with pristine beaches. It is a very safe city to live in with a
favourable climate all year round. Average temperatures are 27 degrees
Celsius in summer and 22 degrees Celsius in winter.
